Connecting Traditional and Digital Art and Experiences

William’s work focuses on immersive and modern extended reality technology with a common theme of art and design. Augmented reality, virtual reality, and immersive experience are combined with traditional art and design, creating engaging and educational experiences.

With a background in traditional and design, modern extended reality and immersive technology is a natural extension of William’s work. William also enjoys implementing his knowledge of art history into projects when possible.

The examples below showcase how traditional art and design concepts can be translated into the modern digital age.

Combining Historic Art Movements with Modern VR Tech

By using modern AR/VR technology, artists can create new experiences like never before. In this example, a virtual reality art museum allows users to explore and engage in an interactive exhibit. In this experience, users collect famous works of art that have been misplaced in the gallery. As the user collects and places the items in the correct areas, educational information is displayed providing details such as the artist, name of work, and related art movement.

Implementing Educational Content with Entertainment

This experience balances entertainment with additional educational content. For example, as users race to find the lost artwork, information such as the art movement and other details are provided in an unintrusive manner.

Augmented Reality Experience

Transforming spaces into experiences

Leveraging modern augmented reality technology, users can turn any room environment into a world class art museum. Users are able to scan their space using Meta’s advanced Mixed Reality Toolkit, and convert framed works into famous works of art through augmented reality.
