Candy Lane – VR Experience

Spatial VR Interactive Game

Course: CMS 490 Virtual World Building – 2025

While this project deviates from the theme of traditional art and design, Candy Lane is a fully immersive experience allowing the user to navigate a fantasy world via virtual reality. Players can treat the experience as a game, collect items and complete tasks, or simply enjoy the immersive experience. 

For this project I wanted to create a fantasy world that users could immerse themselves in. I wanted to create an experience that would allow for open “play” and exploration, which I feel was accomplished. Unity advanced scene mapping was also used, Spatial virtual world building and Ready Player Me avatar creation integration as well, resulting in an immersive experience that uses multiple integrations.

Skills

This project also showcases understanding and implementation of the Spatial Creator Toolkit, a powerful Unity and Spatial integration. Additionally, this project shows the ability to create experiences outside the general realm of art and design. Moreover, this project highlights further understanding of Unity game engine physics and world building features.

Problem Solving

This project showcases the ability to create an engaging experience based on pre-structured game elements, using the Spatial Creator Toolkit. It also demonstrates the ability to work on projects outside the realm of traditional art and design.
